Adarsha Vidya Bhavan is a senior secondary school established in 1993 at Paravur Town with the aim of Promoting quality education in the semi-urban areas and to be of help to the comparatively weaker sections of the society as well. It is the brainchild of a group of venerated gentlemen who have retired from various important Government services. The school is located just a kilometer south west of KMK junction. It has an extensive campus with an area of more than three acres. The school premises are calm and idyllic. This doubtlessly, is an atmosphere most conducive to teaching and learning.
It is a non-profit school run by a registered trust named ‘Adarsha Vidya Bhavan Trust’. The school got affiliation for the Senior Secondary from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE Affl. No. 930117) in the millennium year and the first batch of senior secondary students passed out in 2002.The vision of the trust is to make quality education available to the lowest stratum of the society at a reasonable expense. The school also aims at an all-round development of students with a value based education. The trust consists of 362 members.
The school functions with 31 permanent teachers and 2 part time teachers. It maintains 1:13 faculty – student ratio. The school is proud to have a team of teachers who are adequately qualified and professionally trained.
Our vision is to produce socially responsible and self reliant citizens. So the school aims at providing training for the mind, training in physical fitness and training in leadership.
The school will improve reading habits of students at all the stages providing access to an updated library and conducting various other reading related activities
